Richard Peck trained in pharmacology and medicine at the University of Cambridge and spent several years as a hospital physician before deciding on a career in clinical pharmacology. He has nearly thirty years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and for the last decade he has been Global Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Roche. His professional passion is to understand the reasons for variability in drug response and use that knowledge to improve drug treatment. His vision is to change how drugs are developed and used, with much greater and more effective individualisation of the choice of drug and dose to best suit each patient.
